Andrei Korobeinikov is one of the most famous young pianists in Russia. "His tickets sell out within two hours of being announced," said a lady sitting behind me at the Tchaikovsky Competition.
He is only the second person after Rachmaninov to have graduated from Moscow Conservatory with honours at the age of 19. He holds a law degree. He has won many prizes and has played in more than forty countries with top orchestras. He is much in demand and it is a great privilege for us to have him perform at Eelswamp. His full biography is well worth reading.
