Andrei Kudriakov began formal training at age four at the “Rainbow” Music School No. 8 under Elena Mukhametova. His career quickly gained momentum with major competition victories, including the Grand Prix at the All-Russian Pianists Competition in Tolyatti (2000) and the International Kabalevsky Competition in Samara (2001). He went on to study at the Samara Music College under Larisa Parfenova and later at the Saratov State Conservatory with Professor Albert Tarakanov, graduating with honors and earning a Doctor of Musical Arts degree.
Alongside his studies, Kudriakov refined his artistry through masterclasses with pianists such as Lang Lang, Denis Matsuev, and Mikhail Pletnev, building a repertoire that spans solo works, chamber music, and more than twenty concertos.
Kudriakov has since established himself as an internationally active performer and educator, touring across Russia, Europe, and Asia, and appearing at prestigious events such as the centenary of the Saratov Conservatory and the “Three Centuries of Classical Romance” festival in St. Petersburg. His projects include the “Quatre Musicians” tour and commemorative concerts in China honoring Tchaikovsky.
In addition to piano recitals, concerto appearances, and chamber collaborations, he is recognized for his teaching excellence, earning awards for preparing students for international competitions. Since 2024, he has served as a permanent jury member of the Kabalevsky Competition in Samara and as its official ambassador in China, underscoring his dual role as a performer of distinction and a cultural bridge-builder in the global music community.
